Kinja'd!!!

Have a day off so got a couple jobs done that were overdue. It’s been down on power and lumpy at idle. The spark plugs were 65k miles old and well overdue replacement. I also decided to clean the throttle. The top photo shows some of the deposits on the throttle, this was after I started cleaning.

Kinja'd!!!

It was full of oily junk and probably part of the reason I was having issues. Car runs much smoother now so I’m calling it a job well done.

Good job, one can never have enough maintenance. Mine felt a bit better after having a service recently, it feels a bit more alive again.

Mine only runs a bit rough when cold, once warm it drops to a steady, and crazy low, 650-ish rpm.

Mine was lumpy when cold and refused to accelerate unless fully warm. Was a bit weak on warm starts sometimes too. Seems okay now. Trying to care for it as well as possible so hopefully it’ll look after me haha.

Yeah, taking good care of them is important, otherwise they might not look after you, haha
